On the south end, the bite has slowed down a bit from its hot start, but nice fish are still coming in.

We spent time at Sportsman’s Lodge and Border View Lodge on Lake of the Woods recently and both places are dialed in on the walleye and sauger fishing. Here’s a breakdown on what worked and

Until ice up, there were a few hardcore anglers jigging with emerald shiners from about 12 – 24 feet of water and catching some nice walleyes on the Rainy River.
