If you look at a map of Michigan’s Oakland County in the southeast Lower, you’ll see that it’s pockmarked with dozens of lakes. Most of them are ringed with houses and cottages, often called bedroom communities. People live there, commute to their jobs, and return home in the evening. Few take advantage of the fishing on these lakes, which is just fine with those who do.
“June produces a lot of good fishing on these lakes before the boat traffic gets too crazy,” offered avid bass angler Dan Kimmel.
