Wisconsin DNR reviews CWD, EHD situations as fall hunting seasons get going

The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) received updates on the two biggest white-tailed deer health concerns – chronic wasting disease (CWD) and epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD) – during a Sept. 22 briefing from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
Erin Nelson, DNR herd health specialist, said the outbreak of EHD centers around southern Washington County.
