Despite the cold, a few diehards have been out there scoring on a some smaller browns and a few fine-looking chrome steelhead.

Anglers finding alternatives with ice in short supply.

Semi-frequent bouts of precipitation have sustained flows on the Erie tributaries, giving anglers plenty of steelhead fishing opportunities.

Always the chance at some fresh steelhead migrations that should only improve as we get into the later winter.

Hard water anglers are hoping for some cold weather, which should be the case with winter now officially here.
