Fishing pressure is real light, with one or two guys reporting a few fresher-looking steelhead hooked up.

Look for low and clear flows to prevail on the Oak for now and most hook ups at the dam or for a few careful drifters.

With most of Lake Erie now covered with ice, lower Niagara River waters are in good shape with 4-5 feet of visibility.

Ice thickness can vary from fishery to fishery. And the bite?
