Wind made it tough on some of the bigger lakes in the area.

Most of the really good reports on walleyes came from less than 10 feet of water, with strong action in as shallow as 2 to 5 feet in some areas as well.

After a stormy week, Mother Nature finally gave us a weekend with decent weather, which allowed some to get out and enjoy time on the water. Many of the lakes and the Missouri River continue

Fishing activity is hot – and the bite?

This time period is generally the heart of the back-country brook trout frenzy in the Adirondacks and also when walleye waters start to really kick into high gear.

This past week’s warm weather will push water temperatures up and that should mean crappie and bluegill action will improve in shallow water.
