Water warming up fast – along with the bite. Here’s where they’re catching ’em and how they’re doing it.

Inland lakes in southern Michigan area starting to produce a decent panfish bite, but for the most part the water is still a little chilly.

On Lake Michigan, the coho bite picked up big time.

Report from the Dock So much to report this issue. The best hatches of the year have been coming off streams across the state, and fly-fishing has been outstanding on many, including Pine Creek, Kettle

The walleye river runs are finished for this year, but the white bass have moved in behind them on the Maumee and Sandusky rivers and other northwest Ohio tributaries of Lake Erie.

Fishing action appears to be picking up with warming water temps across the state.

Wind made it tough on some of the bigger lakes in the area.

It has been a banner week on Lake Ontario from Olcott to the Niagara Bar, with lots of full boxes and chatter about doubles and triples.
