The Chinook salmon bite was in full swing here, with several anglers reporting limits during the early morning bite before sunup and very good catches during the evening.

The number of good walleyes being caught has definitely decreased because of the heat, but hopefully, expected cooler temps will improve the bite.

The river and Niagara Bar have been producing big-time walleyes in both numbers and size, according to one report.

Definitely some similarities in fishing patterns and behavior, but we’ve made some slight tweaks and implemented some additional options.

There has been an uptick in muskellunge catches here recently. Anglers often target muskies along weed lines by trolling large stickbaits, or by casting stickbaits and bucktail spinners.
