When I took up reloading, some four years ago now, I wisely (in my opinion) invested in quality new equipment.
Robin Sharpless, Redding Reloading’s vice president, and a long-time friend, set me up with what I needed. But in our conversations we also talked about the used market. A well-cared-for reloading press, for example, will stand the test of time, Sharpless told me. While things like older scales, powder measurers, and especially dies are items that handloaders may want to scrutinize a bit before buying used.
