Though the prevalence remains low, chronic wasting disease (CWD) in Ohio has now expanded into Morrow County, according to the ODNR Division of Wildlife.
An adult doe harvested by a hunter on Delaware Wildlife Area during gun season tested positive for the fatal malady, said Gary Comer, wildlife management supervisor for the Division of Wildlife in Central Ohio. Steelhead fishing on the Lake Erie tributaries in northeast Ohio has been good through the late fall and early winter.

Teresa Croy, of Ottawa, Ohio, spent the early part of the day on Nov. 2, 2024, throwing all manner of plastics in attempt to catch a fish at the Glandorf Rod and Gun Club in Putnam County.
