Lima Lake a quiet, small fishery in northwest Ohio

Lima Lake isn’t quite the place that anglers will place near the top of their list as a desired “fishing destination,” but if you happen to be in the Allen County area of Lima, the lake wouldn’t be a terrible spot to wet a line.
Lima Lake is part of the Johnny Appleseed Metropark. While it has fish, it also serves as a source of drinking water for the city of Lima.
