Each spring when the temperatures start to warm, I’m taken back to my childhood and the first fishing forays that I made in my little neighborhood in Brown County, Ohio.
I vividly remember one such outing in the early spring when myself and a neighborhood friend ventured not too far from my house. Probably about 10 years old or so, my neighborhood buddy and I knew of a pond that was a short walk away. Problem was that this little, woodsy pond required a crossing of State Route 125 to get to it.
