We have all read at one time or another in a hunting book or magazine article dedicated to deer hunting, about youngsters who wondered and fantasized about going to deer camp.
Being too young to hunt and therefore considered too young to go to deer camp with their hunting moms and dads, they were left unhappily behind to wonder what went on at deer camp, as well as wonder how those big antlered deer came to be taken by the hunters in camp.

A heavy cloud of white smoke from the muzzleloader blocked my vision a millisecond after I squeezed the trigger. By the time the wind blew it away, the big doe was hightailing it across the corn stubble back into the head-high weed cover.
