Ralph Loos: Michigan DNR’s ‘flush report’ offers bird hunters something to dream about

Bird hunters may or may not agree with me on this – depending on whether they hunt with a dog or don’t – but I submit to you that the “flush” is the most exciting and rewarding part of a day in the field.
I dream about it. To me, the “point” or the “set” come in a very close second. Shooting and downing a bird? ’Tis merely a nice bonus.
