The Offal Wildlife Watching Project will return for its ninth year, adding small mammal trapping, disease testing, and a hunter survey.
Grace Milanowski, Offal Wildlife Watching Project coordinator at the University of Minnesota-Extension, said the project allows researchers to learn more about how gut piles left behind by deer hunters fit into the natural food web.
