Deer Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area in Oswego County is one of those state-owned tracts that offer a lot more than just wildlife.
Sure, the 1,771-acre parcel is popular with hunters, especially with waterfowlers, given its proximity to Lake Ontario, as well as with pheasant hunters, since it receives several rounds of stocked birds from the state’s Reynolds Game Farm.
