Former Ohio Wildlife Council member Tom Vorisek received a Red Oak Leaf Award in recognition of his years of service to the council and to the state’s conservation efforts.
The Ohio native expressed gratitude for the recognition.
“It’s nice anytime you get an award,” Vorisek said. “It’s good to know my efforts of the last eight years on behalf of sportsmen and women were appreciated. It’s validation that you can make a difference.”
