Jeremiah Haas: The conclusion of a failed turkey hunt

We started this story in the last issue of Illinois Outdoor News – the one highlighting the importance of sharing examples of failure, along with examples of success.
Going into 2026, I had decided that I was going to attempt to harvest two birds with one shot. I never had the tags to accomplish the feat. So, this year I decided to get two first-season tags and solely concentrate on accomplishing this task.
