Department of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum announced Tuesday morning, Jan. 13, that he had signed Secretary’s Order 3447, which will require that most public lands managed by Interior are open to hunting and fishing access unless specifically closed by local managers or agency leadership.
“We’re cutting barriers and streamlining regulations so Americans have the access they deserve on our public lands,” said Burgum.
