I don’t know about your portion of the state but where I live in the south-central region of Pennsylvania it is not uncommon to see a half dozen or more freshly killed furbearers on the roadway on my daily commute to work.
And it doesn’t matter if I am in the middle of fields and forest or towns of some size, the critters are there.
