I’m extremely fortunate to live on a piece of property that has been in my family for generations, as far back as the late 19th century. Like my father, I grew up here and in my younger days my uncle owned what was once the family farm that long ago was homesteaded by my great grandparents.
As boys, my two brothers and I wandered the woods, often with BB guns. As we grew into hunters, the woods on the family property produced its share of grouse and gray squirrels. As an adult, I’ve successfully hunted both deer and turkeys here.
