Georgia 18-year-old stands atop podium at Civilian Marksmanship Program’s air rifle competition

Bethany Shirley, 18, of Walton County 4-H, Georgia, was the overall champion of the 2025 CMP National Three-Position Sporter Air Rifle Championship – commanding a 10-point lead that took her into the finals and securing her a gold medal in the match.
For her win, Shirley received $1,000 from the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
