Steve Carney: Those pesky perch, and a serious rice crop that bodes well for Minnesota duck season

It’s been a tough fishing season so far for me on Otter Tail Lake, one of the most iconic walleye lakes in Minnesota. This was my go-to lake for decades, but recently the amazing perch explosion has really hurt walleye-fishing success.
