Fur prices slip in June despite encouraging report

Prices paid for most species of furbearers during the Fur Harvesters Auction Inc. March sale fueled speculation of renewed interest in wild fur.   
Therefore, North America’s fur trappers and hunters were eager to see if the prices held up at the June 17-19 auction, a few months closer to next trapping season.
