Michigan’s December pheasant hunt expanded

Southern Michigan pheasant fans have additional season-stretching options, following action taken by the Natural Resources Commission in May.
The commission, which oversees policies and programs of the Department of Natural Resources, unanimously approved a DNR proposal to expand to all of Zone 3 (southern Lower Michigan) December and New Year’s Day pheasant hunting.
