There was a good turnout for the Ohio State Trappers Association’s second and final fur auction of the season in Kidron on March 8. Some 60 trappers and hunters, some with multiple lots, sold 5,134 furbearer pelts to 13 buyers.
OSTA fur auction coordinator Shawn Bentley wanted to express his appreciation to the volunteers who helped make this event run smoothly and give Ohio’s fur harvesters a place to sell their hard-earned catches.
