Will New York’s junior hunting program continue after 2025? DEC issues annual report

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation recently submitted its annual report on junior hunting to both the New York State Senate and Assembly. The report, entitled “Deer Hunting by 12- and 13-Year-Old Hunters in 2024,” summarizes the current junior hunting program as well as the 2024-25 hunting seasons, and also makes recommendations for the future.
