Promoter, New York State Police try to speed up ammo background checks at Albany Gun Show

Marc Loveland stood near the entrance of the Empire State Plaza Convention Center, in Albany, N.Y., watching dozens of vendors prepare for what would be the second day of his first big gun show in the State Capitol.
The show, now promoted by Loveland’s New York State Sportsmen Association, LLC, returned to Albany for the first time since 2023. As he anticipated the day’s outcome, he confidently reflected on the day prior.
