Minnesota DNR seeks $98 million to preserve, enhance assets

The Minnesota DNR is seeking a slice of the state’s capital budget to the tune of $98 million total in 2025 to go toward various projects. The focus of this year’s requests is tied to preserving what the DNR has, while keeping an eye on future advancements or acquisitions.
The agency says that request seeks millions of dollars for system-wide, targeted, and community investments.
