New York’s Moreau Lake State Park grows via 860-acre Big Bend Preserve

A long-anticipated 860-acre expansion of Moreau Lake State Park, in Saratoga County, N.Y., has come to fruition.
In July, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the opening of the Big Bend Preserve at the park which includes a 6-mile trail system that permeates the tract, and in places, parallels the Hudson River.
