With agreement signed, carp project to protect Lake Michigan ready for first stage

The Brandon Road Interbasin project will install a complex series of innovative deterrents at the site to prevent upstream movement of carp and other aquatic nuisance species on the Illinois Waterway – a system of rivers, lakes, and canals that includes the Illinois and Mississippi rivers.
