At my age, the outlets for satisfying my competitive urges have dwindled dramatically. I quit playing hockey years ago when I could no longer distinguish my “good knee” from my “bad knee.” Golf is too time consuming, and even if I did pick up the sticks again I’m pretty sure I’d be bunting the ball down the fairway instead of bombing it. Boxing and mixed martial arts are out of the question.
But there are still options.
