Outdoors comes to life through artists

As part of its “Arts in the Parks” program, the Ohio DNR and Ohio Arts Council premiered an exhibit of paintings by Tina Husted at Deer Creek State Park Lodge on Sept. 17. Husted is the wife of Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted.
Initiated in January 2023, “Arts in the Parks” aims to celebrate the state’s talented artists and combines the wonders of nature with a setting where they can best be enjoyed, according to Ohio DNR Director Mary Mertz.
