Founded in 1994, the Butte des Morts Conservation Club is a robust club dedicated to conservation in east-central Wisconsin. Its members work diligently to conserve, preserve, and restore precious and endangered wildlife habitat within Lake Butte des Morts, and its adjacent wetlands within the watershed.
“The club does a little bit of everything when it comes to protecting and improving our local natural resources,” said Jordan Vanderloop, the club’s secretary. A member of the club for five years, Vanderloop lives in the town of Vinland in Winnebago County.
