Ohio’s Perry County youth fishing event brings in 235 anglers

Saturday’s weather on Aug. 1 relied on the same luck that young anglers found at the Perry County Gun Club lake for the annual Hooked on Fishing… Not On Drugs (HOFNOD) Youth Fishing Derby sponsored by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and Perry County Transit.
Every one of the 235 young anglers had the opportunity to fish from 7:30 a.m. to noon without the first drop of rain falling.
