It’s that time again, when confiscated, abandoned, and otherwise orphaned outdoor equipment is put up for auction by the DNR. Since online auctions have become the norm these days, bidders are only a few clicks away from adding to their stockpiles. Will you be among them?
The bread and butter of the auction, of course, is a healthy spread of guns and bows. In the 2024 auction, the most recent one held, there were over 300 firearms and almost 80 bows. There is also always an offering of other items, like taxidermy, and fishing and camping equipment.
