Sometimes, especially when it involves a fishing trip, things don’t turn out the way you planned.
I can accept that, but admittedly was disappointed when a two-night camping trip tight to Kettle Creek, with designs on hitting the green drake hatch and fishing to rising trout was doused, literally, by heavy rains ahead of my Memorial Day visit. They left the popular stream running bank-full, made for difficult wading and nearly impossible fishing, and kept most anglers home.
