Steve Carney: Early morning shady shoreline bass tactics

What follows may sound simple, but I discovered a pattern way back in the day, and it still holds up years later: shaded shorelines!
My first stop on most of the lakes I fish begins on the east side of the lake, which has shaded shoreline extending usually about 100 yards into the water body.
