Steve Carney: A good day guiding on a new lake

I was nervous sitting at the boat launch wondering how I was going to pull a rabbit out of my hat. My clients had just bought a cabin on one of the lakes in the Cormorant chain of lakes near Detroit Lakes, Minn., and I had my work cut out for me.
I had zero intel on this water body, I but did some research on the DNR website and I found the fish numbers impressive.
