Kinfolk Hunting Collective gets new outdoor users into New York’s woods and waters

The Kinfolk Hunting Collective recently held its spring turkey camp, which provided the opportunity to teach new hunters outdoor skills. Along with some time in the turkey woods, the mentees and mentors alike enjoyed some fishing and habitat work. (Photos by Andrew Pelletier)

Kinfolk Hunting Collective is a growing organization based in New York State with a mission to introduce as many people as possible to fishing, hunting, and general outdoor skills. What began as a passion project for a collection of individuals has become a true movement throughout New York.
Many of Kinfolk’s attendees hail from the New York City area, where they don’t have consistent or easy access to the outdoors. Kinfolk allows them to get outside in controlled environments.
