Events coming up in New York designed to teach women outdoors skills

DEC is hosting a Becoming an Outdoors Woman archery workshop this month in the Adirondacks. The event is one of a handful of popular women’s events taking place this spring New York. (Photo by NYS DEC)

Upcoming events this spring will help women develop a variety of outdoors skills.
These will include the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Bowhunting 101 Workshop, which takes place May 15-17 at the Great Camp Sagamore, in Raquette Lake, Hamilton County.
