Neil Payne, Bill Lunney enter Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame

Neil Payne is a retired wildlife professor from UW-Stevens Point.

Neil Payne, retired UW-Stevens Point wildlife professor, and the late Bill Lunney, an advocate for wetlands and public parks, were inducted into the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame April 21.
Payne conducted research on more than 20 wildlife species and published extensively, including seven books on wildlife management. His work, focusing on habitat management, has influenced conservation practices in Wisconsin and beyond.
