Snow in forecast could help Prairie Pothole Region ducks

Mostly dry wetland conditions across the U.S. and Canadian prairies could diminish spring duck production without significant precipitation falling over the next few weeks as birds settle across Minnesota and the Dakotas.
That’s the word from waterfowl managers across the prairie pothole region (PPR), often referred to as the nation’s “Duck Factory.”
