Ralph Loos: Michigan hunting rules, they are a changin’ – and changes, they are a rulin’

So far, the only noticeable hitch in the refurbished Michigan spring turkey season was a gobbled reference in the printed version of the 2026 Spring Turkey Regulations Summary.
DNR was quick to post a note on its website, explaining the Summary “listed the statewide Turkey Management Unit 0234 season dates as April 25 to May 31, but the correct dates are May 2 to 31.”
