Big event for Minnesota waterfowlers as Duck Summit is set for March 27-28

Should the daily bag limit of ducks be reduced? What’s the health status of Minnesota’s wetlands and other waterfowl habitat, as well as the ducks that breed in the state? Do hunters and waterfowl managers have differing viewpoints on ducks and duck management?
Those questions and many others are on the docket for the 2026 Minnesota Duck Summit, slated for March 27-28 in Nicollet, near the shores of hallowed Swan Lake.
