Pennsylvania turkey call makers shine in Nashville

The call making and calling competitions were among the highlights of the NWTF’s annual Convention and Sport Show in February. (Stock photo)

Pennsylvania hunters not only know how to use turkey calls, they’re pretty good at making them, too.
While Keystone State callers walked away with some of the top honors at the National Wild Turkey Federation’s Grand National Turkey Calling Championships, call makers were doing the same in the annual call making competition categories.
