Blackwater Lake near Longville is just 771 acres in size, but when it comes to spots to fish for bass in this neck of the woods, it has to be near the top of any list.
It’s not just because Blackwater supports both largemouth and smallmouth bass populations, which it does; that in itself is a pretty big draw. But, the most noteworthy factor here is the lake’s high bass numbers and the impressive size structure of those fish it kicks out on a consistent basis.
