With a little luck … duck season 2025 would’ve been a great one

As usual, the 2025 Minnesota waterfowl-hunting season started as they all do, with great promise.
Then the truth became known. A summer of extreme rain had wreaked havoc on our prairie home. Typically, we begin the hunt by shooting a few geese during the early season. But we found the rivers so high that sneaking was impossible.
