How did inclusion of crossbows impact New York’s deer kill? DEC releases preliminary harvest percentages

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation on Dec. 30 shared preliminary data on New York’s white-tailed deer harvest, at least as of Dec. 14.
In its weekly Hunting and Trapping Newsletter the agency shared results related to the expanded crossbow hunting opportunities for deer and bear.
