New York State trapping seasons are in full swing and trappers and fur hunters are piling up hides. The outlook for this season has a few bright spots and a few not-so-bright spots. Still, trappers must have a market to sell their furs.
The prices for red fox appear to be between $10 to $15. Flatter types and damaged goods will be bring less. Trappers should also expect offers near $6 for coyotes as there is not a big demand for coyotes at present.
